I love inexpensive yellow balls – they are easier to find than white ones and less likely to be mistaken for another player’s ball. They do the job for me.

I’m 68, short & fat with a slow swing speed so this ball works well for me. I seem to get a little more distance off the tee and they feel good around the greens. For the price, it’s hard to find a better ball.

I wanted,some yellow soft core balls in early December and found a fair number including my preferred Bridgestone E6 balls had jumped in price ,so I tried these and I certainly do not regret it. I buy yellow balls for winter because they are easier to see and these certainly fit the bill, they have a dimp!e finish that is a bit flatter and a bright almost gloss finish. Not only are they easy to see they do not mark up as quickly as the Calloway soft feel or the E6 balls ,but are they any good. WOODS. I have a natural draw on my woods and 5 hybrid ,which with some soft core balls is a problem because they often move more in the air as they lose pace. These I am glad to say work really well ,they hold the line I set them off on and I am not losing any distance . IRONS .This is not my strong area ,I take little divet and often hit the ball a bit flat and thin .These balls are certainly forgiving my really good shots and low ones seem to go a similar distance ,stay fairly straight and at the moment my iron play has improved. CHIPPING/PUTTING : This is an area where these balls are strong ,they have a fair amount of feel ,I find them fairy to easy to judge on pace and they stay straight. If I compare them to a Calloway soft feel they have slight!y less feel off the club ,but do not run out of pace as quickly or move off line as much . My putting average is better with this ball. WEAR: I understand these have a similar coating to the E6 but they seem to wear better and as explained above do not mark up as quickly. They also seem better than the Softfeel.
Overall I really like this ball for me they are certainly a match for the E6 if not a bit better and the price currently is £3 a box better so what’s not to like. Bridgestone have lost my business.

I am about a 10 handicap golfer. 65 years old. Over the past 10 years, I have really experianced a decline in my clubhead speed. I intend to work on this. In the cold weather, a lower compression ball works well for me. The balls are perfect. I like the feel and sound of this ball coming off the club. The actually hold on the greens better than I expected and roll well when putting. Much cheaper then the chrome softs that I like to play. Not sure I will go back to the expensive balls when it warms up. I like this ball a lot!

These are great golf balls for my needs. I am basically a beginner. I love the color – I can see the ball in the grass easily. It is a fairly soft ball which is perfect for my slow swing.
